3D Camera Sharing provides you with more flexibility.  Share your 3D camera between many applications simultaneously.  

For example, you can record with a capture application while video chatting over Skype.  Simply start the 3D Camera using our sharing application.  That application uses a wizard to determine what format you would like to stream. 

Then, start your other video application and start using the 3D Camera as your video source.
