3D Media Center

The 3D Media Center provides out of the box functionality forcapturing,  viewing, and streaming 3D content.

3D MEDIA CAPTURE

  • Capture audio and 3D video to file
  • Capture using standard Windows compression codecs (audio/video)
  • Capture using Windows Media Encoder (WME) capture profiles
  • Save 3D snapshots to file while previewing or capturing
  • Live preview while capturing to file
  • Live preview without capture
  • Video captured with 3D Media Center stores meta data specifying the 3D video format

3D MEDIA PLAYBACK

  • Playback 3D media (audio/video)
  • 3D TV support - side by side fullscreen format
  • View 3D images (still images & animated GIF)
  • View YouTube video - not limited to YouTube's 3D player.  Media Center provides the full 3D viewing capabilities as with other video types.* **
  • Open media from files or URL
  • Use meta data from capture files to identify 3D input format
  • Manually set 3D input format during playback for files without meta data
  • Manually adjust 3D alignment (horizontal, vertical, & rotation) during playback for misaligned video
  • Store format and alignment information in separate meta file that can be distributed with video. Media Center checks for the meta file whenever a file is opened.
  • Adjust playback speed in realtime - speed up or slow-motion
  • Jump playback to any position in the timeline (codec permitting)

3D MEDIA STREAMING

  • Host Windows Media Encoder (WME) HTTP sessions (content source)
    • Hosted WME sessions can be propogated by Windows Media Server for live events
    • Hosted WME sessions can be saved to disk by Windows Media Server for on demand events
  • Connect and view WME HTTP sessions (content viewer)
  • Connect and view Windows Media Server hosted streams, both live and on demand**
  • Connect and view Flash Media encoded video from media servers (Flash, Wowza, Red5) *  **
